This is Le Koala, our newly converted van with all the comforts. If you want to experience the great outdoors in a fully equipped van, you've come to the right place!✅
The van is fully equipped and includes : - A spacious 140 x 200cm bed for 2!🛌
- A real 18L fridge to keep everything cool... No more lukewarm beers at the aperitif!
- A battery powered by a solar panel and the vehicle's engine, allowing you to plug in all your devices via USB or plug socket (up to 230V with the power of the sun)☀️
- Two folding chairs and a portable outdoor gas stove for your kitchen + a kitchen kit ♨️
- An outdoor solar shower with cabin for added privacy, ideal after a beach trip 🚿
- Plenty of storage space throughout the van for your travel essentials and room for your surfboard (up to 2 surfboards of up to 2m in length)! 🏄‍♂️🤙
- Small lights and luminous balls will give it a cocooning atmosphere once night falls. ✨
With its car-like size and height of 1m90, you're free to go under all the gates!
- The van is easy to drive (integrated reversing camera) and consumes little fuel. It even has heated seats!
➡️ Comfort option 😸:
- Inside toilet: €20/rental
- Sheets, plaid and pillows: €10/day
- Pick-up/drop-off at a station or airport: Free for Saint-Jean-de-Luz station and €10 to €30 for journeys from other destinations. (30 minutes from Bayonne, 20 minutes from Biarritz airport and 30 minutes from San Sebastián airport)
- Cleaning charge: €30
➡️ Location: The vehicle can be collected from the free public car park at Saint-Jean-de-Luz station (direct line to Bayonne and Bordeaux), where you can park your car. You can also collect the van from a public car park in Ascain (15 minutes' drive from Saint-Jean-de-Luz station) and park in the van's place. Both car parks are secure.
➡️ Nearby: You're at the gateway to the authentic Basque Country, at the foot of the legendary La Rhune mountain. You can choose between visiting all the magnificent little Basque villages (Ainhoa, Sare, Espelette), going deep into the mountains (La Rhune, Iraty forest), visiting the Bardenas Reales desert or following the Basque coast to surf all the way to Spain!
➡️ Video tutorials will be available throughout your trip so that no matter where you go, the van will hold no secrets for you. I'll also be easy to contact by phone.
➡️ Cleaning: The van is fully cleaned before departure, and sensitive parts disinfected.
➡️ The vehicle must be returned clean if you have not taken the cleaning option, otherwise charges may apply:
-20€ for interior cleaning
-10 for exterior cleaning
